Predicting Volcanic Eruptions
Volcanoes aren't outspoken, they usually shown a sign of activity before erupting. One example is Seismometer, it's basically a small earthquake that happens before a volcano erupts. The second example is not really a sign of activity, it's what you use to find a sign of activity. This is called a tiltmeter, this detects small changes in the slope( hey, I know this from math ) of a volcano because as a volcano is about to erupt the earth may bulge or swell up a bit. The third and final example is a tool that is used to predict an eruption. The satellite can record infrared radiation where more heat or less heat is caught on screen from the satellite detector. It shows up as different colors defining the eruption. Those are some examples of an activity prediction.
